    Here is the syntax

    WHILE [condition] DO
BEGIN
..code...
END;
END WHILE;

    Example:

    DECLARE v1 INT DEFAULT 5;

  WHILE v1 > 0 DO
    ...some  code here...
    SET v1 = v1 - 1;
  END WHILE;
