I have an integer that I need to convert to a four digit hex value.

For example, lets say the int value is 16. What I am looking for is a way to go from 16 to
0x00 0x10.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Try this:

    var input = 16;

    var bytes = new byte[2];
    bytes[0] = (byte)(input >> 8);  // 0x00
    bytes[1] = (byte)input;         // 0x10

    var result = (bytes[0] << 8)
               | bytes[1];

    // result == 16
