    I found out how:
    I hided the line below then restarted the sql server and it worked.

    # Set the SQL mode to strict
    sql-mode=”STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION”

    Note this line is found in my.ini file.
