How can I cast a String in Bool ?

Example:
“False” to bool false

I need this for my JavaScript.

    if (str.toLowerCase()=='false'){
       return false;
    } else if (str.toLowerCase()=='true'){
       return true;
    } else {
       return undefined;
    }
}

…but I think Jon’s answer is better!
