    How about zero variables?

    #include <numeric>
    #include <iterator>
    #include <iostream>

    int main()
    {
      std::cout <<
        std::accumulate(
          std::istream_iterator<int>(std::cin),
          std::istream_iterator<int>(),
          0) <<
        "\n";
    }
