GestureDetectorandSimpleOnGestureListener, useonFling()to detect the distance between the path user did with his finger from the first touch till the release with.getX()andgetY()from eachMotionEventand do nothing forx > SOMEMAXVALUEandy > SOMEMAXVALUE. I hope you’ll find your way.
