if(!!!a[tabType]){
   a[tabType] = [];
   a[tabType].push([self,boxObj]);
}else{
   a[tabType].push([self,boxObj]);
}

i think !!!a[tabType] equals !a[tabType]
why use the “!!!” not “!” ?

    The !! construct forces conversion to a boolean. I don’t see the point of it here.
