    Yes, but you may prefer enum which implements an interface, Look here. I think It looks much better. This is example for abstract method:

    public enum Animal {
        CAT {
            public String makeNoise() { return "MEOW!"; }
        },
        DOG {
            public String makeNoise() { return "WOOF!"; }
        };
    
        public abstract String makeNoise();
    }
