    To temporarily disable a constraint (foreign keys are constraints):

    ALTER TABLE MyTable NOCHECK CONSTRAINT MyConstraint 

    To re-enable a constraint

    ALTER TABLE MyTable CHECK CONSTRAINT MyConstraint
