    <input type="checkbox" name="myCB" value="A" class="toggler" cheked="checked" />

    and without animation,

    $(function(){
       $('.toggler').click(function(){
           $('div#name').toggle(this.checked);
       });
    })

    cool demo

    this with a little animation

    $(function(){
       $('.toggler').click(function(){
           if (this.checked) {
               $('div#name').slideDown();
           } else {
               $('div#name').slideUp();
           }
       });
    })

    cool demo too
