Sendkeys did the trick

Dim numberoftabs as Long
Dim numberofdownarrows1 as long

numberoftabs = yourvalue
numberofdownarrows1 = yourvalue

Application.SendKeys "{TAB " & numberoftabs & "}", True
Application.SendKeys "{DOWN " & numberofdownarrows1 & "}", True
Application.SendKeys "~", True
