Does Delegate.Invoke() start the method the delegate is pointed at on a new thread, or do you need to use Delegate.BeginInvoke() to do this?

Thanks

Delegate.Invoke: Executes synchronously, on the same thread.
Delegate.BeginInvoke: Executes asynchronously, on a threadpool thread.
