Question

Eclipse Indigo + Spring IDE for indigo + Spring STS for indigo + maven integration for eclipse + maven integration for eclipse wtp

Created a spring mvc project

did maven clean

did maven install

ran with local server [tomcat 6.0]

got the following error

SEVERE: Error configuring application listener of class org.springframework.web.context.ContextLoaderListener
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/springframework/core/io/Resource

repeated by performing tomcat clean under server tab and ended with same error

had to include the following dependency in my pom
