    Replace veg[i] with document.write(veg[i]) and your code works

    Example

        <form name="vegForm" action="veg.aspx" >
            <select onchange='this.form.submit()'>
                  <script type="text/javascript">

                  veg = [1,2,3,4,5] ;

                     for (i = 0; i < veg.length; i++) {
                         document.write('<option>')
                         document.write(veg[i])
                         document.write('</option>')
                    }
                 </script>
             </select>

         </form>

    Thanks
    🙂
