Hi guys I’m using wp touch to develop a mobile wordpress site, but when I try to do something like dynamic_sidebar('sidebar') it return false in the main theme I can use widgets, but I want them to be also available in wp touch any idea if It can be done?

WOrdpress couldn’t find sidebar sidebar on your mobile theme because it’s not defined in your mobile themes functions.php (in wp-content/plugins/wptouch/themes/THEMENAME/).

So you have to add this :

        register_sidebar(array(
                'name' => 'Sidebar',
                'id' => 'sidebar',
                'before_widget' => '<div class="sidepanel">',
                'after_widget' => '</div>',
                'before_title' => '<h3>',
                'after_title' => '</h3>'
        ));
}
