Hi I’m trying to upgrade my ruby 1.9.2 to 1.9.3 using RVM. This is what I’m doing:

rvm upgrade 1.9.2
Are you sure you wish to upgrade from ruby-1.9.2-p290 to ruby-1.9.3-p0? (Y/n): y

Then I get the following error:

Installing new ruby ruby-1.9.3-p0

I’m using XCODE 4.2.1, any idea please???

    1. Update RVM curl -L get.rvm.io | bash -s stable && rvm reload
    2. Install osx-gcc-installer
    3. Read and follow instructions rvm requirements
    4. Install ruby: rvm install 1.9.3

    You could also use http://railsinsaler.org for new system installations.
