    $('a:contains("something")').click(function(){
      // pass
    });
    

    To only bind to elements with the specified text, or:

    $('a').click(function(){
      if ($(this).text().indexOf('something') !== -1){
        // pass
      }
    });
    

    to check at the time of clicking.
