How can i match the following dates with python regular expression in one statement,

How can i match the following dates with python regular expression in one statement, dates are:

  11/12/98
   0/0/0
  25/02/1977

The following doesnt work for 0/0/0

 p_date = re.compile(r'(\d{2,4}[/-]\d{2,4}[/-]\d{2,4})')

    You just need to fix the numbers of numbers that you’re expecting.

    p_date = re.compile(r'(\d{1,2}[/-]\d{1,2}[/-]\d{1,4})')
    

    Then, if you want to get the individual numbers in groups,

    p_date = re.compile(r'(\d{1,2})[/-](\d{1,2})[/-](\d{1,4})')
