$ldap = NewADOConnection( 'ldap' ); 
$ldap->Connect( $host, $user_name='', $password='', $ldapbase );
???

Example:

$db->execute("UPDATE  `DEFAULT`.`table` SET  `stg` =  '$stg';

    Use DefaultDatabase property to set or return a string value that is the default database. Like

    conn.DefaultDatabase="northwind"
