Say I have the following structure:

<div id="container">
   <div id="column1">
      <div id="asset1"></div>
      <div id="asset2"></div>
   </div>
   <div id="column2">
      <div id="asset1"></div>
      <div id="asset2"></div>
   </div>
</div>

I want to find out how many children the div element: container, has. In this case it would return 2…

    Use children and length:
