As in CreateObject(servername.typename[,location]) in VB.

    The closest methods in the .Net framework equivalent to VB6’s CreateObject call are the following:

    object calcInstance = Activator.CreateInstance(calcType);
    or    
    Assembly testAssembly = Assembly.LoadFile(@"c:\Test.dll");
