    Did you try the regular JVM options to enable remote debugging?

    set JAVA_OPTS=-Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=8787,server=y,suspend=n %JAVA_OPTS%  
    

    That the usual way to enable remote debugging.
