    @user287107 was close but this is what works:

        Dim ass As Assembly = Assembly.Load("AssemblyNameWhereModuleResides")
        Dim moduleType as Type = ass.GetType("MyNameSpaceIfApplicable.MyModuleName")
        moduleType.GetField("field").SetValue(Nothing, newValue)
