      <ImageView
            android:id="@+id/list_image"
            android:layout_width="wrap_content"
            android:layout_height="wrap_content"
            android:adjustViewBounds="true"
            android:scaleType="centerCrop"
            android:layout_centerHorizontal="true"

           />

    Change

    android:layout_width="wrap_content"
    android:layout_height="wrap_content"

    to

     android:layout_width="fixed dp(50dp)"
     android:layout_height="fixed dp(50dp)"

and change android:scaleType="centerCrop" to android:scaleType="fitXY". It’ll make every item’s size is equal. If you want image touch together, just remove android:padding in item layout and android:verticalSpacing
