    It’s hard to tell from your question, but it sounds like you want to know how to style columns in a table. What you need is the col tag.

    Here’s an example:

    <table>
        <col/>
        <col style="background-color: #ffff00"/>
        <col/>
        <thead>
            <th>One</th>
            <th>Two</th>
            <th>Three</th>
        </thead>
        <tr>
            <td>One</td>
            <td>Two</td>
            <td>Three</td>
        </tr>
    </table>
