How to disable jquery radio button? the following doesn’t work:

<input type="radio" id="myButton" name="myButton" />

$("#myButton").attr({disabled: true});

the following disables the button, but it distroy the layout of the button, maybe because its RADIO button:

$("#myButton").button("option", "disabled", true );
