How to remove the a tag but the content in it to remain?

Something like this:

<textarea  id="temp">
    ff<a href="sds.jpg" rel="tt[images]" title="">  cissttppp  </a>
</textarea>

To become:

<textarea  id="temp">ff  cissttppp  </textarea>
