Try this and let me know what happen..

    File fXmlFile = new File(Paths.getBookStorePath()+book_name+"/OEBPS/content.opf");
    DocumentBuilderFactory dbFactory = DocumentBuilderFactory.newInstance();
    DocumentBuilder dBuilder = dbFactory.newDocumentBuilder();
    Document doc = dBuilder.parse(fXmlFile);
    doc.getDocumentElement().normalize();
