I am getting a MemoryError on my site after adding a form that has an ImageField. The code works fine on my development server (OS X 10.7.4), but fails in my staging environment (CentOS).

I am a bit reluctant to use the solution proposed here for what looks like a similar problem: Python ctypes MemoryError in fcgi process from PIL library. It changes python itself — which seems bad for long-term maintenance.

I am a bit clueless on how to debug this one… Please help me cure my ignorance…

Here is the traceback:

Solved this with https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=717404 by having mod_wsgi run under a userid.
