I am getting the following message, when I type in /localhost:8080/springapp2/ HTTP Status 404

I am getting the following message, when I type in /localhost:8080/springapp2/

 HTTP Status 404 - Servlet spring is not available

Even the root URL is not working.

    I got this resolved. A couple things I changed.

    • Changed URL pattern to /
    • Added spring expressions jar to classpath
    • there was an issue with ContextConfigLocation URL. I updated it

    Now it works like a charm.
    Hope this helps someone.
