    use strict;
    use warnings;

    open my $fh, '<', $file or die "unable to open '$file' for reading :$!";

    while(my $line = <$fh>){
        chomp($line);
        if($line =~ /working/){
           my $result = qx/some.bat/;  # use backtick or system()
           last;
        }
    }

    close($fh);
