I assumed the exception would be processed as an upstream event in the pipeline of the channel but my stack trace doesn’t look that way.

I assumed the exception would be processed as an upstream event in the pipeline of the channel but my stack trace doesn’t look that way.
It just gets logged via the InternalLogger, so no upstreamevent.
