Question

I can’t create a hotlinks for our server, so far i have googled about it and there was some various solutions(scripts) how to create a hotlinks through php download file, i uploaded this file in a main directory of my server and made a public folder /public_html/, u can see it from script:

but still when im trying to download the file from server, it can’t find it or asks for a username and password, the /public_html/ folder and it’s subfolders and files in it are fully accessible.
i give this link: ftp://ftp.micae.com/download.php?f=test.mp3 with http:// it can’t even find a file, but with ftp it asks for username and password, what im doing wrong?!

Calling script with ftp protocol it will not be executed.

You have to call your script via http like:

http://micae.com/download.php?f=test.mp3
