Question

I found this example on the php site I would like to run a command and monitor the process which its running.
please find below the class code.

Below is the script I used to run it.

require 'class.php';
$process = new Process('ls -al');
    // Then you can start/stop/ check status of the job.
    $process.stop();
    $process.start();
    if ($process.status()){
        echo "The process is currently running";
    }else{
        echo "The process is not running.";
    }

I get an error saying undefined function start()

Try:

$process->start();

that’s the correct php syntax.
