I have a .Net 3.5 app with a web service that inherits from System.ServiceModel.ClientBase<>, and after I make 300 – 400 calls on a webservice method, I get the following exception:

Does anyone know how to resolve this issue?

  1. The connection was closed by the server. If you don’t know what’s causing the server to disconnect (possibly because it crashed), you can’t really do anything except catch the exception and try again, maybe after a short delay.
