How can I detect selection on this ListView?

    Try ListView.setOnItemClickListener():

    listView.setOnItemClickListener(new OnItemClickListener() {
        public void onItemClick(AdapterView<?> parent, View view,
          int position, long id) {
            ... do something based on position ...
        }
