I have a site that is running PHPBB 3.0.11 (latest version) but on first page visit with empty cache it takes 4-5 seconds to load. After that it loads in seconds! Any ideas?

Thanks for the help guys, I figured out the problem. It turned out it was because I had a very large list of banned ip’s, I guess phpbb loads these up on initial page load and stores them somewhere.
