strDate holds value in the given format- month(3 letters) dd,yyyy

How can i convert this string value into datetime format of c#?

    Have a look at DateTime.Parse. Try using:

    DateTime.Parse(yourDateString, CultureInfo.GetCultureInfo("en-US"));
