I have code in View:

}

How can I pass value of txt to my controller:

[HttpPost]
public ActionResult MyAction(string text)
{
 //TODO something with text and return value...
}

Give your input a name and make sure it matches the action’s parameter.

<input type="text" id="txt" name="txt" />
