i have had an application on Apple App Store for quite some time now

i have had an application on Apple App Store for quite some time now with latest version reaching upto 3.3. i was wondering with further changes increasing the version number wont look good for new and old users alike.. Can i remove this application from sale and upload a new App with same name and functionality with version 1.0 ??

    What’s wrong with increasing the version number? That just tells people that you support your app and that you’re continuing to improve it with new features and bug fixes. If you don’t want the number to grow too large, just use a smaller increment for each new release.
