I have Hidden field like <%= Html.Hidden(ID, 1) %> and in javascript i want

I have Hidden field
like

<%= Html.Hidden("ID", 1) %>

and in javascript i want a value of that field by

var ID = document.getElementsByName("ID").value;

I can’t access it!

is there any other way?
