I have

List<ObjA>  
ObjA has ObjB  
ObjB has property Id  

How do I get a list of distinct ObjB based on Id?

Using DistinctBy from MoreLinq, you can use this:

list.Select(a => a.ObjB).DistinctBy(b => b.Id);
