I have some code like

var newName = 'Tom';
<div id="me">My name is {Name}</div>

How can I use jQuery to find and replace the {Name} with the var newName ?

var newName = 'Tom';
$('#me').text(function (oldText)
{
    return oldText.replace('{Name}', newName);
});
