    Access is quite happy to import CSV files, it can be done through an SQL statement.

    SELECT ID,Field1 INTO NewTable 
    FROM [Text;HDR=YES;FMT=Delimited;IMEX=2;DATABASE=C:\Docs\].Some.CSV
