    You can determine size of embed image only on instantiation. Something like:

    <s:BitmapImage source="{img6}" complete="completeHandler(event)" />
    …
    private function completeHandler(event:Event):void
    {
        var image:BitmapImage = BitmapImage(event.currentTarget);
        trace (image.sourceWidth);
        trace (image.sourceHeight);
    }
