I have the following code:

otroDemo.java:

package beans;

import java.io.Serializable;
import javax.faces.bean.ManagedBean;
import javax.faces.bean.ApplicationScoped;

@ManagedBean(name = "otroDemo")
@ApplicationScoped
public class otroDemo implements Serializable {

    private static final long serialVersionUID = 1L;

    private String valor;

    public otroDemo() {
        valor = "AAAA!!";
    }

    public String getValor() {
        return valor;
    }

    public void setValor(String valor) {
        this.valor = valor;
    }
}

otroDemo.xhtml

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN"
    "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">

<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"
      xmlns:h="http://java.sun.com/jsf/html"
      xmlns:f="http://java.sun.com/jsf/core"
      xmlns:ui="http://java.sun.com/jsf/facelets"
      xmlns:p="http://primefaces.org/ui">
...
<div id="contenido">
    <p:panel header="Blablabla" styleClass="panel">
        <h:outputText value="#{otroDemo.valor}" />
    </p:panel>
</div>

I’m using JSF 2, PrimeFaces 3.4.RC1, Mojarra 2.1.12 and Glassfish 3.1.2.

The problem: I get the following exception:

javax.el.PropertyNotFoundException: /otrodemo.xhtml @93,67 value="#{otroDemo.valor}": The class 'beans.otroDemo$Proxy$_$$_WeldClientProxy' does not have the property 'valor'.

And I’m not quite sure what’s the problem here. It worked before and it’s not working now. Could you lend me a hand?

    I’m not quite sure what’s the problem here. It worked before and it’s not working now.

    …

    When I clean my project I get an error: Unable to delete file C:\Users…\NetBeansProjects…\build\web\WEB-INF\lib\sqljdbc4.jar

    Server’s work folder has apparently become dirty. Can happen. There are too many possible factors which can cause this. The server is intensively hotpublishing/hotdeploying during development and perhaps, at a concurrent moment, a file becomes locked whereby an unlock is overlooked/cancelled for some reason, which in turn causes that a clean is impossible during hotdeploy. That could be a bug in the IDE, the server or the plugin used, who knows.

    Your best bet is to shutdown the server and then perform the usual clean/rebuild/redeploy/restart process.
