I have the following textarea element:

I have just started using bootstrap, but can’t work out the best way to make the text in the textarea monospace.

Adding the following to your textarea tag should work

 style="font-family:monospace;"

or else you can just add it to your css like this

#textarea{font-family:monospace;}
