    Use JQuery post method to pass data to PHP file:

    $.post("/path/to/script.php", postData, function(result) {
        // work with result
    });

    In PHP use $_POST global to get the variables:

    print $_POST['dates_ranges'];
    print $_POST['action'];
    // ...
