Question

I have used the following code to trigger the server:

$.fn.dataTableExt.oApi.fnReloadAjax = function ( oSettings, sNewSource, fnCallback, bStandingRedraw )
        {
            if ( typeof sNewSource != 'undefined' && sNewSource != null )
            {
                oSettings.sAjaxSource = sNewSource;
            }
            this.oApi._fnProcessingDisplay( oSettings, true );
            var that = this;
            var iStart = oSettings._iDisplayStart;

            oSettings.fnServerData( oSettings.sAjaxSource, [], function(json) {

                that.oApi._fnClearTable( oSettings );

                var aData =  (oSettings.sAjaxDataProp !== "") ?

But, this does not pass the GET parameters. I want those to be passed as well with it. Please guide me to get through this. I have already been working and surfing for this from the past many hours.

When I call the fnReloadAjax, I put the GET parameters in the first function argument, like this:

//table declaration
var mainTable = $("#mainTable").dataTable({ 
    "sAjaxSource": "tableParams.php?"+getParams
    //other table parameters
})

//table reload
function reloadMainTable(){
    mainTable.fnReloadAjax("tableParams.php?"+getParams);
}

in which the variable getParams is something like:

var getParams = "foo=bar&user=myself&date=20-04-2012";

is that what you want?
