I installed python-mysqldb using sudo apt-get install python-mysqldb I have tried to use it

I installed python-mysqldb using

sudo apt-get install python-mysqldb 

I have tried to use it unsuccessfully. The following commands do not work in Python prompt:

import python-mysqldb 

Or

import mysqldb 

How can I solve this problem?
